Since 2009, Joey Neve has served as the US Central Command (CENTCOM) Operations Desk Officer for the Unites Stated Army Medical Command Mr. Neve is the principal assistant to the Army Surgeon General in providing medical augmentation to the operating forces throughout the Middle East.
Mr. Neve was born in Richmond, Virginia in 1973 and raised in Gary, West Virginia. He graduated from Mountain Top Baptist Academy in Welch, West Virginia in 1991 and subsequently joint the Army in 1997 as a Combat Medic. Mr. Neve rose through the Enlisted Ranks achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class throughout his 12 years of being on Active Duty before being medially separated in 2009 due to some unforeseen injuries.
Mr. Neve had a variety of assignment’s while on active duty to include Line Medic, Flight Paramedic, Flight Paramedic Medic Instructor, Platoon Sergeant and Operations Manager with duty stations across the globe. He was deployed to Iraq in 2003-2004 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Flight Medic. Mr. Neve holds an Associate’s Degree in Emergency Medicine (Paramedic) a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management and a Master of Science in Emergency and Disaster Management.
Mr. Neve is involved with various organizations and groups to include the American Legion Post 593, Lifetime Member of the Disable Veterans of America, National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and President of the Charleston Parke Homeowner’s Association. He is very passionate about serving the communities.
Mr. Neve has a wife of 19 years, fraternal twins who are 26 years old and a 15-year-old Football player at Byron P. Steele II High School.
